Seamless Gutters are rain gutters that are created onsite with a professional grade gutter machine. Our gutter machines are hauled in trailers to the jobsite and the gutters are run off. They have no seams. Measurements are taken and the gutters are run off in one continuous run.
Anderson Gutter Company offers seamless gutters in Aluminum and Copper. Our machines form K style gutters, but we also offer half round.
Benefits of Seamless Gutters
Strength and Durability
Sectional Gutters must be joined together with miters to form a gutter run. A sealing agent must then be used to seal the pieces together. Seamless Gutters are typically stronger because they are one continuous piece and don't require miters. Also, the more seams there are, the more potential there is for leaks. Sectional gutters are also less durable due to the materials used. They are typically made from vinyl or plastic which makes them more susceptible to damage.
Cost
Seamless Gutters and Sectional Gutters are comparable in price for initial install and materials. Sectional Gutters can cost more in the long run. They aren't as durable as seamless, so can require more repairs and future expenses.
Sizes
Seamless Gutters come in a variety of sizes including 5 inch, 6 inch and 7 inch. Sizes vary to suit the needs of the residential home or commercial building.
Overview
Seamless Gutters are a more cost effective option in the long run. Due to the lack of seams, there are less issues with leaks. They are typically made with Aluminum or Copper which is much more durable than vinyl and plastic and requires less maintanence. Due to the amount of rain we get in the Cincinnati/NKY area, we recommend 6 inch gutters for all homes.
